Deidre Behar is a Cuban-American on-air personality, currently hosting and producing digital video content for Entertainment Tonight's digital platform, ETonline.com. 

 

Deidre wears several hats at ET, ranging from celebrity interviews, to original reporting, to producing and writing her own packages. Her work is featured on ETonline, as well as the ET broadcast show, CBSN and digital partners like AOL, Yahoo! and MSN. Deidre's work has gained popularity for her ability to deliver both light-hearted and hard-hitting interviews with the most talked-about celebrities. In March 2017, she was the only reporter invited to interview the late Selena Quintanilla's family in their hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas, in celebration of the 20-year anniversary of the Selena movie.

 

Deidre's career started while she was studying broadcast journalism at Loyola Marymount University.  After graduating, she transitioned from intern to full time reporter at Fox Network News' entertainment division in Los Angeles. Deidre covered and broke national headlines by interviewing some of the biggest stars today, from Miley Cyrus, to Oprah Winfrey, to Matt Damon, and LeBron James.

 

Then, Deidre was approached to executive produce, host, write, and create all content for a Google-funded entertainment news property, ClevverNews. Whether dishing daily headlines from inside the studio, reporting live from an award show, or going one on one at a press junket, Deidre has a genuine way of getting the scoop while also connecting with the audience. She used her creativity and charisma to create daily viral videos and programs which fostered a passionate online community of dedicated viewers. Sure enough, this combination lead the channel to achieve unprecedented growth and viewership: over 500 million views and 500,000 subscribers in under two years!
